The famous August Ragone dropped into the forums to let us know he’s got a presentation at Wondercon this year, as he’s been doing for the last 14. This will probably be the greatest toku-presentation that money can by on this side of the Pacific, so if you’re in the area… GO! And if you can… bring us back pictures. Please?

Here’s the breakdown:

2:30-3:30 Japanese Superheroes Now: 2007!— Join August Ragone, author of Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters (Chronicle Books), for the 14th year of clips from the latest in live-action heroes from Nippon, including Gekiranger and Kamen Rider Denoh. Plus, a 2006 retrospective, featuring Ultraman Moebius; and a sneak preview of the upcoming Kikaida 01 DVD boxed set, along with the usual surprises. Room 236

Looks like it’s a good day to be a Toku fan… and rich. Bueno pointed out another chunk of auctions that are laying down some pretty nice shit. Momotaros and Urataros keep fighting through Ryotaro’s body. With Den Liner about to wreck, Hana’s thunderous intervention somehow calms the two Imagin down but not the great animosity between them.
Meanwhile, Crust Imagin, having closed the contract with Daiki, had been continuosly attacking Daiki’s soccer teammates. Seeing them one after another enter the hospital with injuries fills Daiki with fear, but when questioned by Hana, who was after Crust Imagin, Daiki denies having anything to do with him…

Desuremu is defeated and the Guys crew can return but captain Ryou Jouji’s injuries are not healed yet.
Seems like the rest of the crew will have to cover for him for a while.
It is then when a report that a dam had completely frozen.
Hurrying to the scene, Mirai and Teppei encounter one of the Four Sky Kings, Guroozamu. To confront Guroozamu, who has the power to freeze the entire planet, Mirai transforms into Mebius.
However, this was a trap! Mebius is frozen by Guroozamu!
Konomi, seeing Mebius frozen, still as a statue, fears the worst.
But in that moment, a voice tells Konomi to “…never give up”, it’s Moroboshi Dan, Ultra Seven!!
