Officially it starts Friday as I’m not sure I’ll be on tonight, but I’m sure a bunch of us will be as soon as our Crackdown Beta tickets go through.

Part of the shooting of the upcoming summer Gekiranger movie took place in the Toei studios in Tokyo. The guest stars, model Yinling and gravure idol Ono Mayumi were present.
In the movie, the Gekirangers confront an evil organization that has taken control of Hong Kong. Features many kung fu scenes that will remind us of the old Hong Kong Martial Arts movies.
Yinling portrays the secretary of the evil organization’s boss. She transforms into a cyborg with an anemone motif. “It transforms from the arm and can absorb anything”, she says, looking forward to the scheduled shooting of the transformation sequence. Ono plays the Hong Kong Police Department covert agent after Yinling. Having participated in some wire scenes Ono comments: “I used to be in the tennis club, but no matter how hard I tried, I still had a hard time”.

Airi manages to cool things down but Ryotaro fails to let know Hakamada’s feelings to Higuchi and the case just doesn’t seem to solve.
The police decides to break in the public bath. Will Hakamada get caught and his innoncence not proven? Airi tries unsuccessfuly to stop Hakamada turning himself in.

*The word play of the title consists on the fact that both phrases are homophones: Kouun no Hoshi. Hoshi is a slang term for culprit.

The servants of the Sky Kenma, Kata; Rasuka of the Crow Fist and Ruutsu of the Crane Fist appear. Not even GekiBlue’s GekiTonfa can stand their powerful Shuriken attacks. The Gekirangers try to fight the enlarged Beastmen with GekiElephanTouja but are overpowered by their enemies ability to fly. So, Sha-Fu decides to ask for someone’s help.

So yeah, everybody has probably hear about the Transformers pre-release frenzy, with fans divided and complaining, turning into another Marvel Civil War of sorts…minus the cash spent on tie-ins.

However, while most of us have finally plugged our ears, trying to ignore the fanboy wars, one fan has come forward to rock the world. To show us all why exactly Michael Bay’s version will rock hard.

I hope you didn’t have your heart set on next year’s Power Rangers being martial art themed with maybe a visit or two to the Wind Ninja Academy or anything. Nope, according to a hot tip from TrivialTV the next adventure for the Power Rangers has been stricken with jungle fever.

Ah well… Ranger Fans that want them not to replicate Sentai stories rejoice… Sentai Fans who were going to hate the show no matter what anyway can hate it even more for “ruining” GekiRanger or whatever.

You can talk about it, and I believe there will be much to talk about, over here.

Hey there, all five of you that actually check out the blog! It’s been far too long since I updated this, I know and I apologize. Been buried under a lot of stuffnjunk these past few weeks, but I got a spot now to slap up a pretty amusing video that I think needs to make the rounds.

In other news, this weekend is the first of several big HJU Gatherings this year. Anime Central 2007 kicks off this weekend and you can bet your morphers that the Justice Force will be there with a bottle in one hand and a Zector in the other.
