Since I won’t be around to do any front page updating, I’m gonna leave behind an encore run of the Epic ACen Video Trilogy. It went together so well, that I just wanted to put it up one more time for you all to enjoy.
Parts 2 and 3 will go up tomorrow and I’ll be back next week to return us all to our usual blogging schedule.
It began with House of M and Decimation. It continues this summer with Endangered Species. And now, the event that will define Marvel’s X-Men for years to come has been revealed in the form of X-Men: Messiah Complex, beginning this October.
Details surrounding the story are still mostly under wraps, but like Endangered Species, it will kick off with a one shot issue, written by Uncanny X-Men writer, Ed Brubaker and long time X-Men artist, Marc Silvestri. X-Men editor Nick Lowe has confirmed that Cyclops will play a major role in the crossover, and that other key characters will be Jaime Madrox, Hellion, Bishop, Gambit, Wolfsbane, Warpath and X-23.
Episode one of 009-1 is up on IGN to check out for free! Can’t say I know fully what the downlow on this is, other than the art design bares a distinct resemblance to a certain Cyborg 009 which is the team of heroes that Ishinomori-sama created before he brought us the immortal Gorangers. I’ve just watched the opening and this ain’t for kiddies, that’s for sure. Click on, then drop into the forums to let us know what you think.
In other news, the demo for Project Sylpheed just hit LIVE. I’ve played it and so far it lives up to all the Wing Commander action and joy I’ve missed since Starlancer and given all the anime wiz-bang and pizazz that we come to expect from the folk over at Square Enix. If you’ve never heard about it… here’s a peak.
EDIT: I did some looking about courtesy of R5’s Mike Dent and found out that this isn’t a follow up to Cyborg 009, but a remake of one seriously killer 1960 live action show that seems like some kinda Japanese Charlie’s Angels only….well, cool. Check it out!
While the rest of the Marvel heroes contend with the chaos of World War Hulk, the X-Men are besieged by two catastrophic events in their their own corner of the universe that threaten to destroy them, both as a team and literally, as a species itself.
The 4-part “Blinded By The Light” storyline written by Mike Careythat begins in X-Men #200 heralds the return of the Marauders, the same team of mutant assassins responsible for the mass slaughter of the Morlocks several years ago, as well as other atrocities against mutantkind. But this time, Gambit, a former X-Man himself, as well as Rogue’s former lover, is among them. After recent events surrounding Rogue and Cable, the team is already fractured and pushed to its breaking point, and before The Marauder’s ruthless decimation of the X-Men is finished, some of the team will join their ranks, one X-Man will lose their powers, and one…will die.
This 64 page groundbreaking issue features art by fan favorites Chris Bachalo and Humberto Ramos, including a 50/50 wraparound cover by both artists, as well as a stunning gatefold variant cover by David Finch.

Ryotaro spotted the Past Sakurai Yuuto again.
The Owner says Yuuto had existed in many times, and that the Sakurai they met is a few years younger Sakurai Yuuto.
Ryotaro simply can’t believe that this Sakurai Yuuto is the same kind person who was engaged with his sister Airi. The mystery is unsolved for the moment while Hana suffers at the thought of her destroyed time.
Ryutaros, having known that Yuuto was Airis fiancee, starts considering him an enemy. If this is left unattended, something really bad could happen.
Another worry for Ryotaro and Hana adds to the pile and another Imagin appears…

Dokariya Steals the GekiShark from the Gekirangers, but Bat Lee and Elehan come in time to save them. Sharky is heavily criticized by the sempai Masters for letting the enemy control him and gets depressed. Then, Sha-fu is attacked. Lee and Elehan think Sharky is being controlled again but…
WHAT?! That is true after all! There will be a sequel of Kamen Rider THE FIRST! Now take a look at new Rider, Kamen Rider V3!! For me, I expect it’ll be release to the movie theater in Japan this Winter. I doubt it!
Henshin Justice Unlimited may not subtitle its own toku, may not be a virtual encyclopedia of toku knowledge and I’m pretty sure its run by the one guy in the fandom that happens to know the very least about the genre’s ins and outs, but my focus here…. is community. I wanted to make a place where everyone, Power Ranger and Sentai fan could come and feel welcomed. I wanted us all to have a place to come hang out, make friends, “talk cock”, and just enjoy yourselves.
And when I see music videos like the one above, I feel I’ve accomplished just that. Thanks to all those at HJU that stop on by and especially to redphoenixfire who put together this compilation of all the many faces and avatars of Henhin Justice Unlimited, leading up to sometime in 2006.
I highly recommend checking out Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and the Finale. You just might see your own face in there.
