The birth of a child is a happy occasion — or at least, it’s supposed to be. In this recent, must-read Comic Book Resources interview with the writers of Marvel Comics’ X-Men family of titles, it was revealed that the first new mutant since the “House of M” housecleaning appears in issue #1 of the forthcoming “Messiah CompleX.”
What does this mean for Scarlet Witch’s edict? You know, “No More Mutants?” As Ricky used to say to Lucy, someone’s got some ‘splaining to do.
Thankfully, writer Mike Carey is available to provide some answers for us. As the scribe of “X-Men” and “Endangered Species,” Carey has been particularly busy thinking about the future of the mutant race and pondering what would happen should that people come to an end. Can you just imagine if that occurred?
If you’re a buster like me, you don’t watch raws. You’re a little wussy that has to actually understand what people are saying on the screen. Well, lucky us… it seems a subber that goes by the name of SailorSpork has taken up the reigns to bring us the first episode of Cutey Honey the LIVE!

Wish you guys had been there to see us pwn the fuck outta some territories. After getting yelled at by HaiTien78 with a, “DO THE POWER RANGERS FORM THE MEGAZORD ON THEIR OWN?!?!!? NO! THEY WORK AS A TEAM!”, we pulled out shit together and took on some pretty powerful competition, gun in hand and only lost one round.
The game is truly incredible when you’re with buds, watching each other’s backs and calling out, “They’re going for 5! Everyone to 5!” and seeing the forces of justice descend down upon a foe that at first looks unstoppable to the one lone fighter who raises his rifle to stop the tide……… only to hear a cry of, “FOR GREAT JUSTICE!!!” ring out and a rain of pain to follow, decimating the other team in short and methodical order.

Special thanks to Sci-Fi Japan and UltramanLah for the pictures.
It was 40 years ago today that Ultra Seven, my favorite superhero, made his debut in his own TV series on Tokyo Broadcasting System! And he’s still going strong.
The following is a retrospective on Ultra Seven’s history and the TV series, as taken from my guide for the show on TV.com! The info has been revised for this post.
Me and a couple Justicers are gathering to get our game on tomorrow night and you should join us. Keep an eye out for my GamerTag, Keith Justice and we’ll see what games we can get together.
Hey guys, Mike/Gaijinder here. By popular demand, I’ve been convinced to become more active with front page contributions, some of which come from my own blog, Justice ACE. So, I’m going to start posting regular articles and rants and whatnot under the label of “Henshin ACE” to avoid confusion…makes sense to me at least.
Anyways, let’s get right to it:
I’m a huge fan of the Space Sheriff Series, so much that I’ve got Hiroshi Watari’s autograph hanging from my bedroom door. Like most fans, I’ve been waiting for the next big series to come along and revive the series or just something to properly revive the Metal Hero genre period. We all know Toei wants to secretly do it, just look at Kamen Rider Faiz for crying out loud. That was a cleverly disguised Metal Hero series.
A few weeks ago, we came close to getting our wish…sort of. Find out for yourself after the jump.
While Rocky was one of my very least favorite Power Rangers, Steve Cardenas is without a doubt one of my favorite Power Ranger alumni. I got to meet and hang with him at the Power Morphicon and while it may sound cliche, he was nothing short of an amazing guy. And before you’re hit with Mikey McDent’s presentation of the interview I scored with him and Austin St. John on R5 Central, Lisa J of the No Pink Spandex Podcast has people in just the right places to score another exclusive interview with Steve himself! So, click on and enjoy. I think I’ll be giving this a listen while I go and and pick up my comics.
EDIT: Also, give Episode 42 a listen. It’s a Roundtable Discussion from some of the RangerBoard’s finest. Excellently editted and full of conversation that brought me back to that time of dream and fantasy experienced back in June of ‘07.
The battle lines are drawn, and it’s time for all-out war.
As DC’s Green Lantern titles are immersed in the story of the Sinestro Corps War, readers have been writhing in anticipation of the impending showdown between the yellow-ring forces of fear and the Green Lanterns backed by willpower. Each side has staged skirmishes — to brutally take prisoners of war, or to rescue them from the hands of the enemy — but the time for posturing and pondering strategy is over.
From the mind that brought you Kamen Rider Agito and Kamen Rider 555 comes a new adaptation based on Go Nagai’s classic Cutie Honey. Read the rest of this entry »
I admit, I have never really sat down and watched Ben 10. I’d stopped watching Cartoon Network a while ago after Toonami started to suck. But, out of the corner of my eye, I have noticed a show or two that showed promise. Avatar: The Last Air Bender for one, and Ben 10 for the other. And according to forum’s member Doggey Kruger, Ben is strappin’ on a morpher and heading to live action!
