2008. Things between Wataru and Mio are better and better. Wataru shows a never before seen leadership and initiative. Kivat welcomes this changes.

1986. Yuri is worried about the sudden disappearance of Otoya. Then Jiro, for some reason, attacks her…

The Go-ongers confront him but the Banki’s rubber like skin makes the attacks bounce back and the rangers have a really hard time, with the Go-on Wings giving the good performance again. Then they decide to take a seminar with Bowhalle but…

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the 4th of July at Henshin Justice Unlimited than to watch the President of the United States kickass in a giant robot. Blasting away for truth and JUSTICE!

I think tomorrow a bunch of Justicers will be firing up LIVE and rocking a couple hours of HALO 3 action if you’re interested. Check out this thread here started by MegaRyu. If you’re down with COD4 feel free to also hit up the thread to get some gaming together.

HJU Comic Book Picks of the Week: July 2nd/Michael Turner 1971 - 2008

News of another terrible loss has come today with the news that fan favorite comic book artist Michael Turner died at the young age of 37 after a long battle with cancer. Mike, who was best known for his work on such titles at Batman, Superman, Witchblade, Fathom and Soulfire, was was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma (a bone-based cancer that attacks the cartilage) in March of 2000, which ultimately cost him his right hip, a portion of his pelvis and several pounds of bone. Turner was very open about his cancer, making convention appearances throughout the entire time, and never giving in to the illness. Mike had also been doing freelance work for both Marvel and DC as a cover artist for various titles. His last piece of work was a variant cover to the upcoming Uncanny X-Men #500
