Pirate Sentai Gokaiger aired it’s final episode this morning in Japan, but afterwards we got a glimpse of the new teams first episode, Mission Sentai Go-Busters, plus the yearly Passing of the torch with Gokai Red and Red Buster.

If you’re new to show, Go-busters is a spy themed 3 Sentai team, with a two more set to join a little later on. Each character has a Buddyroid character as a partner with their own quirks, as well as having a command centre of sorts with another three characters. The enemy is called Vaguras, a virus that 13 years ago affected Energy Administration Bureaus’ main computer, the building was teleported to another dimension to stop it spreading. The Go-Busters were somehow involved, but survived the incident. The tagline for the show is “It’s Morphin’ Time!“, but we have no official word if it’s a reference to the original Mighty Morphing Power Rangers series.

The first episode airs next week on Super Hero time on 26th February.
