Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie War Ultimatum, Full Plot Summary
Movie War Ultimatum is structured as three segments: a Fourze story, a Wizard story, and a combined Ultimatum finale.
In the Fourze segment, Ryusei and Inga investigate a crime organization in South America before learning of a Switcher active in Japan and returning home. At New Amanogawa High School, teacher Gentaro Kisaragi’s colleague Saburo Kihara reveals himself as leader of the Monster Alliance and transforms into Sannagiman, prompting a fight with Fourze. The rival Switcher Ryusei was chasing turns out to be Banba, who transforms into Hercules Zodiarts using a device called the Zebar, secretly funded by the Akumaizer to harvest energy. Banba lures students with a promise of ESP abilities while actually planting mind-control devices on them; Gentaro’s Kamen Rider Club exposes the scheme and frees them. Saburo, who was rejected throughout his life for real ESP powers he had, still allies with Banba until Gentaro destroys his own Fourze Driver rather than keep fighting his friend and former student. Saburo then transforms into the classic hero Inazuman to help defeat Hercules Zodiarts. The segment ends with the safe return of Yuki’s space capsule interrupted when the villain Eel steals the Zebar and causes an explosion; Yuki survives by transforming into her alter ego, Nadeshiko. Chasing Eel through a warp hole throws Gentaro, Ryusei, and Nadeshiko five years into the past, where the present-day Gentaro borrows his past self’s Fourze Driver.
In the Wizard segment, the villains Medusa and Phoenix agree to work with the Akumaizer, who plan to mass-produce monsters using five captured humans, called Gates, wired to a device that draws on a realm called the Underworld. Wizard’s Haruto Soma attacks the Akumaizer in response; when he, Rinko, and Shunpei pursue them into the Underworld, they become trapped in a looping day centered on a character named Patrine, in reality the trapped consciousness of Yu Murakami, owner of Donuts Shop Hungry, manipulated from outside by the villain Zatan. With help from Rinko and children caught in the same loop, the group breaks the mind control, and Haruto defeats Zatan’s ally Gaara before Patrine is recaptured, leading directly into the next segment.
The Ultimatum finale opens with Koyomi, left behind in the Underworld, meeting Gentaro’s team and giving him a ring that lets him enter the Underworld himself. The Akumaizer’s real plan is revealed: dump the energy stored in the Zebar into the Underworld’s Sea of Hell, unleashing enough magic to kill any human without resistance to it. After a chase and fight, Zatan summons a creature called the Zaiderbeck to reach the Sea of Hell. Fourze combines with Meteor and Nadeshiko in a fusion state, while Yu Murakami’s wish creates the Special Rush Ring, letting Wizard equip his Dragon form. Together, Fourze and Wizard defeat Zatan. The film closes on the reveal that Donuts Shop Hungry’s owner is Yu Murakami, whose Underworld was a projection of an “ideal self” who wished to marry Haruto, leaving Haruto to process the revelation.
