Kamen Rider: Battride Wars Adds a Chronicle Mode Story

Kamen Rider: Battride Wars, the upcoming PlayStation 3 game, was detailed with a new original story mode called Chronicle Mode, in which players revisit scenes from the Kamen Rider television series as they help the Riders recover lost memories. At the time of the announcement, only Heisei-era Riders had been confirmed for the roster.

The game’s combat follows the large-scale format of the Dynasty Warriors series, with a single player-controlled character facing down large numbers of weaker enemies, either on foot or riding the Riders’ signature motorcycles.

Bandai Namco set two retail editions: a regular edition at 7,480 yen and a Premium TV Sound Edition at 10,480 yen, the latter bundling 30 extra music tracks drawn from the various featured series that can also be used as an in-game custom soundtrack. Kamen Rider: Battride Wars was set for release on May 28, 2013, on PlayStation 3.
