Synopsis of the Kamen Rider Agito and Faiz Novels

Two novels, one for Kamen Rider Agito and one for Kamen Rider Faiz, were set for release on January 31. The Agito novel focuses on Shoichi’s mysterious past while also featuring Gills (Ryo) and G3 (Hikawa), following the same TV-adaptation approach used for the earlier Kabuto novel: it retells the show’s major scenes while adding new material. Its back-cover synopsis describes Shoichi fighting the Unknown as Agito despite suffering from amnesia, while Ryo has awakened Gills’ power at the cost of his body slowly decaying, and asks how Hikawa and G3’s fate will intersect with theirs.

The Faiz novel is set five years after Toshiki Inoue’s 2004 novel Kamen Rider Faiz: Grotesque Flowers, in which Kusaka assaults Mari. In the years since, Takumi and Mari have heard nothing from Keitaro, Kusaka, Naoya, or Kiba, and have each been trying to live ordinary lives, until the sudden appearance of an unidentified new masked warrior forces the two of them to fight side by side again.
