Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger: 10 Years After Confirmed as a New V-Cinema Film

Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger: 10 YEARS AFTER, a new V-Cinema film revisiting the ninja team a decade after their original series ended, was confirmed for Blu-ray and DVD release on August 9, 2013, with same-day rental availability. The limited edition release includes an hour-long documentary covering the reunion project.

The film was conceived by cast members Nao Nagasawa and Kouhei Yamamoto, who set out to gather the original cast and crew to build something new around a ten-years-later premise, with the returning ninja heroes facing a new threat. Confirmed cast includes Shun Shioya as Yousuke Shina/Hurricane Red, Nagasawa as Nanami Nono/Hurricane Blue, Yamamoto as Kouta Bitou/Hurricane Yellow, Yujiro Shirakawa as Ikkou Kasumi/Kabuto Raiger, and Nobuo Kyo as Isshu Kasumi/Kuwaga Raiger, alongside Shoko Takada, Ken Nishida, Azusa Yamamoto, and Mio Fukumizu. Katsuya Watanabe directs from a script by Junichi Miyashita, with Jun Hikasa and Hideaki Tsukada serving as executive producers.
