Shout! Factory Confirms Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger DVD Release

Shout! Factory confirmed via Twitter, during San Diego Comic-Con, that it would bring Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger to DVD, marking the first time a Super Sentai series would receive a North American home video release. Details were limited at the time beyond confirmation that the release would include subtitles.

Zyuranger, which first aired February 21, 1992, follows five ancient warriors awakened from suspended animation to fight the witch Bandora and her creations. The series was later adapted into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, using its costumed and monster footage as the basis for the American show.
