"You touched my burritos?" This and many other important questions demand to be answered in the ninth episode of Power Rangers HyperForce. Since the premiere of the tabletop RPG series based upon the long-running Power Rangers television franchise, its time-tossed heroes have trekked across the multiverse meeting many famous faces along the way. Previously, Erin Cahill (Power Rangers Time Force), Karan Ashley (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Mike Ginn (Power Rangers RPM) and Santa Clause (North Pole) have graced the presence of these Time Force cadets struggling to save the world and set right what cannot go wrong in the distant future. Now, their missing teammate in yellow returns to the group after a brief absence, along with one of the most known veterans in Power Ranger history. ...

Love it or hate it, Power Rangers HyperForce continues its story on streaming behemoth Twitch, serving as its own unique storytelling platform with its cast of role-playing gamers, setting out on an imaginative quest through time and space to save the world in this Hyper RPG series you won't find on television. And while the cast already includes two alumni from the Saban Brands TV franchise (Peter Sudarso of Power Rangers Ninja Steel, Paul Schrier of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and more), along with a number of special guests, Hyperforce originally packed even more Ranger star power, in the form of Ciara Hanna. In 2013's Power Rangers Megaforce, Hanna played Yellow Ranger Gia, the closest thing the recent era of the long-running franchise has to a Teenager with Attitude. But before Han...

Is this the closest we'll get to a lead actor from the Power Rangers television franchise featuring in Star Wars? If so, I'll take it! The Library Bards have been serenading Youtube with their nerd-centric music videos for the past few years, sending up a number of favorites in the world of geekdom. Now, they present to us their take on two characters in the recent smash hits Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The characters in question being that former Storm Trooper and the ace pilot who named him, Finn and Poe Dameron, played respectively by John Boyega and Oscar Isaac. But some among the Power Rangers fandom will get an extra treat, as the role of Poe is played here by Azim Rizk, who alternated between the Black and Green Ranger (there's a simple explanatio...

Power Rangers: Legacy Wars just got a Super Mega investment. The mobile game, based on the live-action television hero brand Power Rangers, sees characters both virtuous and villainous battle it out for supremacy across a grand canvas of recognizable environments upon which to wage their war of legacies. This week, the cinematic overlords who brought us the 2017 Power Rangers movie brought a bountiful gift to the game that ensures its continued success into the new year. The Hollywood Reporter brings us the story, as Lionsgate presides over a deal between March Capital Partners and Ridge Ventures. The two firms teamed up with the gamesters at nWay, providing an investment deal to the sweet tune of $11 million. The game developer continues to expand upon the strength of Legacy Wars, wh...

It's been a while since I could say that I was loving both the current Kamen Rider series and the current Super Sentai at once. More often than not, the recipe is off for one or the other. And while I'm no Spada, I'd say that Uchu Sentai Kyuranger's blend of wacky fantasy and epic drama provides a well-Balanced meal for my tokusatsu soul. Let's catch up on recent events with this show, and wonder what we did to deserve them. When last we discussed Kyuranger, our terminally red hero Lucky was about to jump into the past to join the time-displaced portion of this ever-growing team of space adventurers, once again proving that even time travel can't keep Red off the screen for more than a few seconds in a row. It's for a good reason, but one can't help but notice how continuously Lucky (...

Top 10 lists are funny. If someone were to ask us a year from now the same question that prompted this list, you could be forgiven for somehow coming up with a completely new set of titles. That's not because we're fickle or indecisive, but because we're talking about Power Rangers, a franchise that boasts a formidable episode number that climbs north of 800! And while a few (or more) of them could be tossed into the category of half-hours some would like to forget, there's a ton more that made us laugh, or cheer, or even cry. So, instead of reaching for a "definitive" list of sweepingly elite installments of this epic franchise, let's check out a few big favorites, presented from one dedicated viewer's perspective. When people wonder why we watch this show, for some of us, the ans...
