Update: Bandai Namco has released the trailer with official English-language subtitles. It can be found below. Our original post follows. It's climaxes all around, as Kamen Rider Climax Fighters gets an extended trailer detailing many of the action game's play mechanics, special features, and character dynamics. Based upon the extensive Kamen Rider superhero franchise, in which cyborgs, revived murder victims, and video game-addicted doctors to name a few, suit up to battle monsters bent upon terrorizing the innocent. In Ultraman Fusion Fight, the towering monsters of the Ultra Series multiverse and the giant heroes who defend against them are swept up in a battle for supremacy. As modern Ultraman features characters whose strange and varied forms are combined and manipulated into new "fusions", this arcade-style Carddass game capitalizes on that feature to the Nth degree, constantly updating with newer and more bizarre meldings of popular figures from their decades-spanning franchise. Including those of 2017's Ultraman Geed and 2016's Ultraman Orb. If the name Carddass makes you think of aliens from Star Trek rather than the mechanics of the game, fret not. As far back as 1988, toy behemoth Bandai has consistently released new DataCarddass collectible trading cards, based upon many well-known prop...

They're passing out wars like candy these days, aren't they? This time, it's for Kamen Rider City Wars, the new mobile game where you're tasked with building your own city from the ground up, potentially filled with memorable landmarks and totem locations from the decades-spanning Kamen Rider superhero franchise. Heroes and villains from every era are joining the party, from the original Kamen Rider Ichigo to this year's Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and Kamen Rider Build, and the dozens in-between, all fighting to save their city from costumed evildoers. This free-to-play smartphone app proved so popular in pre-registration that Bandai Namco Entertainment is offering 250 Hero Stones, Tech Cards, and bonus gasha, but this gift is only available until December 26. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

In the late 1980s, Contra wore out the television sets of gamers the world over, as commandos Bill and Lance (the Schwarzenegger and Stallone of the video game universe) ripped through a landscape of deadly traps and weapons platforms designed to take them out before they could do the same to the enemy. Now, many years and several reincarnations later, the classic shoot-em-up is finally getting its time to shine (or something) on the big screen with a new film project, as well as a TV series. Like the non-stop actionfest that was the 1987 original, this adaptation is going all out. For better or for worse. Original game developer Konami joins forces with China's Starlight Media to bring the game to life. Many details remain a mystery, though CFI provides this brief synopsis: ...
