Next Week on…KAMEN RIDER DEN-O

6 02 2007
KAMEN RIDER DEN-O

Airs February 11th 2007.
Outlaw Momotaro

Ryoutaro… no, the Momotaros-possessed Ryoutaro (MRyoutaro) suddenly meets a man named Yamashiro who is running from a loan shark he stole money from. Just for the fun of it, MRyoutaro confronts and knocks out the whole group of thugs after Yamashiro. Deeply impressed, Yamashiro starts calling MRyoutaro “sempai” and asks him for help in a bank robbery as “he can do as much havoc as he wants”. Then, the real Ryoutaro finds himself being chased by the police without the slightest idea of what’s going on, until Hana saves him. Meanwhile Yamashiro encounters an Imagin and asks for “Enough money to die for”…

Well, Kamen Rider Kabuto has come to an end and we sit… and we wait for ol’ TVN to drop that final episode to see if Kabuto is truely the Rider Show to stand at the top of all others or will it trip and fall like a chef holding 17 banana cream pies? Time will tell when the final Rider Kick decends.

Until then, both the Angry Zen Master and Igadevil have some killer content over at their sites. Click on over to check out what the Zen Master felt where Kamen Rider Kabuto’s Top Moments and stop on over to Igadevil’s site to read both his “Exclusive Interviews” with the Heroes of Kabuto as well has his Kamen Rider Kabuto Year in Review.

Starting now, and every week, a sneak peek of the next week’s episode of your favourite tokusatsu series will be posted here. It’ll make the wait a little less painful. Or a little more…

Kamen Rider Agito vs. Tele-pi! Who is the Strongest Rider?!?!!?

2 02 2007

null

Kamen Rider Agito has been known to rock the forums. Thanks to the Cruel Angel Fansubs, I was also able to “get my Agito on” and enjoy my time battling along him, KR G3 and Gills. The battle against the Unknown was hard fought and well worth the time. Thanks to some cracked out talking television from Japan, those of us who’ve battled in the Kamen Rider Agito Universe get to hang out with Shoichi, Hikawa, and Ashihara one last time to find out… who is the strongest Rider!!!

Click on and enjoy the weekend.

Also, I’d just like to thank the new News Hounds: Blue, Filadelfo and DiscoInferno for stepping up to the front page so we can bring you the best and the latest in toku news.

For Great Justice! Thanks!

Kamen Rider Kabuto GOD SPEED LOVE Director’s Cut

1 02 2007

Assuming we follow the pattern of the previous years, we’ll be seeing this on May 21st. For those that don’t know what these are, expect a longer cut(about 20 to 30 minutes) of the original film. These usually go more in depth with stuff the originals lacked, hopefully Kamen Rider Caucasus will be given more screen time.

More and More Gekiranger Info!

31 01 2007

Discussion thread for “More and More Gekiranger Info!

The first relevant and very interesting piece of info is that the series has a special director for chinese martial arts, his name is Tsutomu Kitagawa.

-Seems that the villains group insn’t Narakudo anymore but Rinjuuden or Confrontation Beast Hall.

-Fierce Beast Fist - Beast Arts (激獣拳ビーストアーツ/Gekijuuken Beast Arts)
The Beast Fist school of justice.
The energy in which this school is based is called “Geki” or Fierce Enegry and it’s obtained when one feels the beast within one’s heart.
By making the Fierce Energy burn, endless power is obtained.

Scratch
Engrish, ftw!
A sports company with “Supporting sports with science and heart.” as motto. In there, a special department developed the GekiChanger gloves, devices that enchance the “geki” (激気) or “fierce energy” to its limit. Other inventions are the GekiTonfas, the GekiNunchakus and the training robot RoboTough.

Profiles:

Kandou Jan/GekiRed (漢堂ジャン/ゲキレッド)
Gekired, the Unbreakable Body, from which power flows unstoppable.
Practices the Fierce Beast - Tiger Fist, he is a begginer, though.
He was raised by tigers deep within the forest for unknown reasons, his true origin unknown as well. Has a panda friend.
Has his senses sharply enchanced and feels with the body, not with the brain. He can’t use common words so he sometimes describes things with words such as “niki-niki”, “zowa-zowa”, “waki-waki”, his own personal “Jan-ish”. (It makes more sense in japanese of course)
He was scouted by Scratch because he personificates the “Body” of a Gekiranger: he can be pinned against the ground by a big log with no harm at all. As he was raised by animals, he doesn’t know and has to learn about the “Heart”.
