Angery Zen Master holds a Ph. D in rule, and you should all go check it out. As far as I’m concerned it’s one of the best geek news sites in cyberspace. While I was over there I came across a link to Newsarama and the Kevin Munroe Interview, giving us an inside peak to the upcoming Turtles flick. It’s quite an interesting read and one that I definately recommend.

Well, isn’t this just prime?!?!? I was looking through the post about GARO’s X-Mas special, when what else do I find but a glimpse of GARO in 2006 posted up by kyo28, featuring a first look at the newest fighter to take up the sword along with Kouga and Rei. Currently his name’s unknown, but when we know, you’ll know.

As any HJU member knows, I loved GARO more than I loved crack and I’d kill a guy infront of his own mother to get another episode. Well, it looks like I’ll not have to commit any atrocities(…..yet) to get another kickass GARO fix. ZroSentai breaks the news in the forums, brought to us by the famous August Ragone. Check it out:

There ain’t a lot of real news to drop that I’m noticing, but rumors can be fun too. Over in our forums there’s whisper and a word of a Dark Kabuto. Is this a new Rider or has Mr. Perfect himself, Tendou fallen to the dark side?
Or is it that we’re all suckers at the whim of really good photoshop?
Drop on in the forums to discuss whether or not this Black Rider is the real deal or just a waste of webspace.

The first place I heard about it was in our forums, but it sounds like last year was the end of E3 as all us video games have come to know it. Rumor, and that’s all it is, is that Sony got their cans kicked so far across the galaxy by Nintendo and Microsoft that like that sore loser you used to play kickball with, they took their toys and vowed never to come again. This and mother rich and tasty amounts of video game news can be found in the latest episode of Broadcast Gamer which I can’t recommend enough. Along with this is a couple links to some hard to find Squaresoft/Square Enix/SquEnix games. One of them is what I’d call the greatest game of all time for Super Sentai fans… Xenogears. Click this link or the above picture to catch M.C. Wilson’s latest cast.

Known as Ryu Ga Gotoku in Japan, Yakuza is set to hit these shores early September. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s said to be the spiritual successor to one of my all time favorite video games, the epic and majestic Shenmue Saga. That right there is good enough to get my money. Broadcast Gamer posted up a audio preview along with some hearty helpings of video game news. Soon after listening I ran out, picked up the demo in OPM (for fwickin’ 10 bucks?!?!?!) and started to explore my inner Japanese martial art gangster. I’ll see about writing up a more full preview later but the game seems to have some kinda setting where it winks out and back to the menu screen after 15 minutes of gameplay, which I find questionable at best. In the mean time, sllllliiiide your mouse over here or click the above picture to listen to M.C. Wilson’s coverage of what looks like one of the last great games for the PlayStation 2.
