Our podcasting homies over at Team Fremont Live held a contest where their listeners wrote in to confess their deepest geek guilty pleasures and yours truley stepped up to represent and get all poetical about my love for Power Rangers. They dubbed me the hardest of the core and I walked away with the prize. A DVD of the geek indy flick, Gamers, which is a mockumentary about D&D geeks. Well, I’ll be fuggin’ dipped. This thread here in the forums points out the relation between the Negative Syndicate Monsters and Sentai Mecha of the past… apparently a bunch of the monsters wer’re seeing are directly based off of Sentai Mecha of the past! Thailand’s military rulers, installed in a coup last week, have banned dancers or actors using tanks as a backdrop. The actors were later released without charge.
