Well, I gotta say I loved the series and I can proudly say i\’m a bit classier and wont ask you to go topless. But I liked this it\’s nice to see and hear the female perspective in terms of Toku. I really wouldl ike to have more shows like this.

I thought Shinkenger was pretty good series, NOT the best or perfect Sentai series ever. I liked the fact that TOEI decided to use the female Red Shinkenger and it was pretty cool. I wish they would’ve keep her longer as the 7th Samurai.

I’m up for Goseiger. So excited to see the new show.

Oh, I’m not coming back to Henshin Justice Unlimited Message Board because I have a good reason. I was banned for a week because I was defending Sentinel King from Quark and Barashin. I can’t believe that one of the moderator who banned me INSTEAD of Quark and Barashin. They are being a douchebag and they can flame whatever they want, which is completely unnecessary. I’m very furious at Ryoutarou for that. I won’t come back anymore.

I’m done with the board for good. I’m finished with them.

Wow, that whole scene there with Strike and Torque and everyone… I don’t want to be mean to the american cast, god knows we can’t all be oscar winners, but it looks like the more seasoned japanese actors are really gonna bring out the potential of their characters. about her barely moving. i’m a black belt in kendo etc etc… minimizing your movements for optimal efficiency is one of the goals of a swordsman. from what i see, she is on par or even better of a swordsman than takeru.
the same goes for when you compare takeru’s sword technic with the other shinkengers. his strikes are way more efficient.

I have to admit, when I first heard about Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, I was thinking “Whatever this show was in Japan, they are going to butcher it when it airs on the CW.” Then I start watching it and reading about it on SciFi Japan, and next thing I know I’m really digging this show. When I saw the last four episodes online, I said to myself “They could easily make a sequel where Xaviax comes back and has to be stopped by a new team of Kamen Riders or even by the same ones.” Seriously, that thing he was standing in front of could have teleported him away before the blast from the Link Vent destroyed him. I mean if I were an evil megalomaniac with delusions of conquering and enslaving two worlds I’d want a contingency in case my big plan fell through. Course unless another network like Cartoon Network or Nicktoons picks up the show, we’ll never get a Dvd release and we won’t get a sequel. Man, that sucks.

I’ll have to say that now that the series has been cancelled, I consider the series in it’s entirety to be a HUGE disappointment. The writing was POORLY done. Long needs to go back and write those obscure Warhammer modules and stay the hell out of Hollywood. –And while I’m at it, FOUR CLIP SHOWS out of 40 EPISODES?? ARE YOU INSANE??!?! We’re you just out of ideas, money, or both?
This show could not decide if it wanted to be a serious drama a la the other Japanese Kamen Rider shows or if it wanted to be a happy Power Ranger-y no one dies everyone comes back and sings Kumbaya kiddie show.
Now I’m afraid that we will have to wait another 15-20 years before anyone in the states touches the Kamen Rider rights again because of this debacle.
I watched the show from the premiere in Dec 08 til the cancellation, and I wanted it to work. I was rooting for it! It’s demise is due to two things. Number one, the writing, and number two, the choice of selling it to the CW and their failure to promote it so affiliates will actually feel compelled to SHOW it. My affiliate in NC moved the show time to 6:30am so they could sho a 30 min car commercial!!
You had 4 different writers on this show. Did you not sit down and write out the plot line before filming was done?! The show looks like the script was written the week before. That, or it’s one of those shows where the actors say in shock, “There’s a script for this!!?!”.
Sigh. So much promise and so much wasted. Perhaps someone will buy rights to Kabuto or Kiva and create something worthwhile in the United States.

Myself & the rest of the PR fans want to thank the “entire” cast & crew (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers), Zeo, Turbo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, Wild Force, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, S.P.D., Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury & RPM) throughout the entire 17 seasons & 700 episodes in the last 16 years, thank Disney (yes! Disney), Toei (for the Super Sentai footage) & Bandai. But most of all, A “special thanks” to Haim Saban, Shuki Levy, Jack Olesker & the men & women of BVS Entertainment.

This is a great final review of the series, and you’re right about pretty much everything. Flawed, but in hte end, a brilliant series. But they’re not gonna produce anymore? That’s just not right! Adness did such a good job, and it’s obvious that another series would be even better, learning from this series’ mistakes. Did it really not do that well, or is Toei deciding not to give them the rights to any other series? I know that they can be sticklers about that, but I hope that they plan another series. I know it would be enjoyable.

For anyone that’s having trouble loading these vis, just go to 4kidstv.com, they’re all there, then come back here to say how awesome it was! OK, probably not one of the best series finales you’ll ever see, but was well written, well rounded, and gave closure, which is sometimes left out of other finales. Overall, this series has been exceptional in my opinion. Not the best acting, but the writing is innovative and more complex than you’ll ever see in any show aimed at it’s demographic. The characters are more diverse in a way that I kinda wished Ryuki had. Action was spot-on smooth and special effects were sweet. The final fight with Xaviax was well worth the wait, he’s going down on my list as one of the coolest bad guys of all time. And of course, CHEESY final scene, but lovable at the same time. Oh, and hint-hint much at the end? Thank you HJU!

What I don’t get is why they would take off a show that they’ve air all year when half of their other new show were more rapidly cancelled and replaced with their older show from 4Kids TV (formerly Fox Box) and Cartoon Network. There may be one reason why it’s getting cancelled (and why its ratings are low): if you miss one episode of KRDK, you could be missing out on plot, character introduction, and/or character “death”. Younger audiences (4kids target audience) may not take as big an interest as we would if they can’t keep track of what’s going on. I hope Cartoon Network or Nickolodeon pick it up and the ratings turn out better so we can get a dvd release.

When Kit got vented, it was sad, but it just sucked, cause u would no what would heppen in the next few episodes.

Kit Taylor is Kamen Rider Onyx and Adam is Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Kit got the Onyx deck from the advent master.

Bottom line: The movie is basically fan service for those who enjoyed the series. Whatever you loved about the series, it’s all here. Unfortunately, so is everything you hated about it. It would’ve probably be better if Sato Takeru returned as Ryoutaro, but unfortunately he’s gone to greener pastures. Other than that, no complaints, it’s basically what you expected from a Kamen Rider, or more specifically a Den-O movie. I’ve seen it twice, once in the theater and once when after I got it on torrent. Loved it both times.

onyx is kit or adam. soon adam comes back and kit is vented. kit escapes the advent void mybe with the advent master and either kit gets the onyx deck or the dragon knight deck turns into the onyx deck and i dont know what will happen to kit if that happens

This episode blew me away. I can’t agree more with everything you’ve posted here! The Survive Modes were perfectly translated and everything, and I felt that moment in the end after Kit was vented. That scene was suprising, and the whole episode was just well written. Is there really only 9 episodes left? That’s too bad, but if they can apply the same writing talent to another Kamen Rider adaptation, it’ll kick ass.
