You know how I was saying before that they weren’t risking any rookies on this project? Well, holy fuggin’ gahd was I not kidding! Steve Wang is not only a director behind one of my all time favorite action movies, DRIVE, but he’s also got Power Ranger cred and I ain’t talking any weak shit either. He’s behind on one of my all time favorite episodes, “Power Rangers Lost Galaxy: The Rescue Mission”!!! Anyway, enough of hearin’ my yappin’… check out the man’s demo reel. Any fears I might’ve had are laid to rest.

Like I said, we’re people who KNOW people… and some of THOSE people know OTHER people. And in and among those people I’m know as Billy Shank the Danger Boy.

Anyway, I had the honor and pleasure of meeting and hanging with the legendary, Trickman Terry, formerly of Electronic Gaming Monthly back in more nostaligic days and he invited myself to an event down in Chicago called, Sushi-X Returns! While I couldn’t make it, our Justice Legions are many and CardCaptor Will answered the call. Check out his report of the event, complete with pictures. Big thanks for the hook up, Will!

When Yuzuki Misaki isn’t dodge Worms, pretending to be a cat burglar or turning down the advances of a certain Decendant of the Discabil Family… she’s just regular ol’ mild mannered, Anna Nagata. One of our newest members, White Knight, did a little clicking and came across her personal blog. While most of us can’t read Japanese, seeing pictures of her just being her everyday self or hanging out with a couple Riders is nothing short of fun and adorable. Check it out and if you are one of the lucky few who’re able to tell what she’s saying… feel free to let us know. ^__^

So as some of you may or may not know, I managed to get to go to the big triple threat premiere of the Zeta Gundam: A New Translation trilogy this past weekend. Also, I was one of the few people lucky enough to record the Q and A session.

Thus for the benefit of those who couldn’t go, I’m making up a transcript on my other blog: Justice ACE to conincide with the release of this weekend’s episode of R5 Central, featuring the actual audio. Sure Gunota has a partial one up but I’ve actual got a direct source so THERE! :p

Parts 2 and 3 will come up as soon as I finish transcribing them, take care folks.

Looks like this puppy is running ahead full steam. And I got good news from a little birdy. Action director along with Scott Phillips and Steve Wang, respectively the writer and director of one of my favorite action flicks of all time… DRIVE. No rookies or lightweights are being expended on this property. Out of the gate we got some pretty heavy hitters on the project. A couple pages of the script have also been posted for your peepers. Where once I wasn’t looking forward to this at all, it could be quite entertaining. All I ask is that production of this not affect the Japanese counter-part and we’ll all be cools.

Forever Knight brings us the news straight from the Dukemon22’s mouth that a 30th Anniversary Sentai movie is coming our way in 2007.

“Apparently, according to the little info box, there will be a 30th anniversary sentai special/movie in Februrary 2007. It is being said elsewhere that the new sentai will be introduced in this special (much like there was a little intro in the Timeranger special. It is not known yet whether it will just be a made for tv special, or a movie. Rumors also circulating say that along with this will be a Boukenger VS Magiranger straight to DVD special, and, Kamen Rider the First, 2, to celebrate the rider anniversary. More info as it comes in.”

I am a Sony hater and a Nintendo fanboy. I eat every little bit of Sony’s bad press with immature glee. Buuuut, I have to say, this latest trailer makes a good case for purchasing the monsterous Blue-Ray machine. While still not worth the 600 bucks they’re asking, it does make it not a bad purchase if you’ve the dough to spare, when they have games like White Knight Story. And c’mon… the guy says, “HENSHIN!” and transforms. How can I be mad at that?
