Kamen Rider Kiba: What We Know
An early rundown of Kamen Rider Kiba, reported to have been known in earlier stages as “Kamen Rider Vlad,” confirmed the series’ final title and a January 27th premiere date, one week after the 49th and final episode of Kamen Rider Den-O. The series was said to continue the multiple-form-change structure of recent Kamen Rider entries under a new theme, with each form based on a classic horror icon: a base Dracula form alongside Wolfman, Gillman, and Frankenstein forms, with the creatures behind the powers reported to inhabit a living mansion between battles.
Kouji Seto was named as the rumored actor for the title role, described as one of the youngest members of the D-Boys talent troupe, the same group credited with the actors behind Kamen Rider Zeronos and the GekiRed and Rio characters from Juken Sentai Gekiranger. Keisuke Kato was rumored for a second, then-unnamed Kamen Rider role, with Aoi Asakura and Nana Akiyama, the latter known for playing Akira in Kamen Rider Hibiki, rumored to play the series’ two female leads.
