Kamen Rider Dragon Knight Confirmed for The CW's 2008-2009 Season
Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, the American adaptation of Kamen Rider Ryuki, was confirmed for a US broadcast slot in June 2008. Japan’s Adness Entertainment, which produced the adaptation, licensed the US broadcast rights to 4Kids Entertainment, which planned to air the series as part of its CW4Kids Saturday morning block on The CW Network for the 2008-2009 season.
The series followed a teenager who discovers a mysterious deck of cards granting him the power to transform into an ancient warrior called a Kamen Rider, built on the same live-action-plus-CGI format as its Japanese source material.
