Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Superhero Taisen Announced for May 2012

A new film crossing over the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai franchises, announced under the working title “Super Hero Taisen,” was confirmed for release in May 2012. The movie was set to feature 40 Kamen Riders, including Fourze, and more than 200 Super Sentai warriors, including the following year’s incoming series, though the primary focus would fall on Decade and Gokaiger given both characters’ ability to transform into other Riders and Rangers.

Confirmed cast included Masahiro Inoue as Kamen Rider Decade, Ryota Ozawa as Gokai Red, Rina Akiyama returning as Naomi from Kamen Rider Den-O, Kenjiro Ishimaru returning as the Owner from Den-O, and the character Momotaros, also from Den-O. Osamu Kaneda, director of prior films including OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let’s Go Kamen Riders and All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker, was confirmed to direct.
