Shigenori Shirakura, producer of the Kamen Rider x Super Sentai Superhero War movie, answered a fan question on Twitter about where the film’s returning Riders come from. A fan asked whether the Riders in the movie are the same alternate-universe (AU) characters seen in Kamen Rider Decade, the originals from their respective shows, or the versions tied to the “urban legend” framing used in Fourze, specifically asking which version of Yusuke would be playing Kuuga.

Based on Shirakura’s response, the returning Riders would not be the AU versions from Decade, but ones connected to Fourze instead, though it remained unclear at the time whether that meant the original actors and characters.
