Super Hero War + Net Movies Update

Issue 136 of Uchuusen magazine detailed new information on Super Hero War and its accompanying net movies, including a cast and staff list. Kengo gives Fourze the Rocket Switch Super One and a new switch, Drill States Super Three; using both together triggers an upgrade to Go-Buster Oh called Rocket Drill Go-Buster Oh, which mounts rocket modules on both hands and drill modules on both feet, using the rockets to reach space before delivering a drill-powered kick. Once both the Kamen Riders and Super Sentai in the story are defeated, a giant robot completed from an unexpected source engages Go-Buster Oh in battle.

The film’s title event, Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero Disaster, Who’s the Culprit?!, frames viewers as detectives across two parallel mysteries. Starting with Decade, the bodies of Kamen Riders begin appearing, and Gentaro transforms into Fourze to investigate, eventually finding a common point among the victims that points to an unexpected culprit. In the Super Sentai mystery, starting with Gokaipink, the bodies of Super Sentai pink heroines appear holding medals, switches, and memories, and the Go-Busters investigate, suspecting a Kamen Rider is responsible.

The magazine also detailed two comedy net-movie shorts. Tokumei Sentai Buddy GO! follows Principal Hayami of Amanogawa High receiving challenges from rival factions, Foundation X, the Kougami Foundation, and the Virgo Zodiarts, with Red Buster, Blue Buster, and Yellow Buster each stepping in as a “great detective” across three episodes, unable to solve the case each time. The Grown-Ups’ Narumi Detective Agency (a pun on Narutaki and Urataros, whose motif is a sea turtle) has Gokaisilver posing questions to Narutaki and Urataros: whether Gokaiger is a ripoff of Decade, what “Kaiger” means as opposed to “Ranger,” and what became of the show that followed Kamen Rider Amazon, tying into a line from Owner in the film that leaves Gokaisilver uneasy.
