Kamen Rider Fourze Crosses Over With Crayon Shin-chan

Kamen Rider Fourze crossed over with the long-running anime Crayon Shin-chan across a four-episode arc in April 2012, timed to promote both franchises’ theatrical films, Crayon Shin-chan: The Storm Called! Me and the Space Princess and the Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Superhero War movie, while marking Shin-chan’s twentieth and Kamen Rider’s fortieth anniversaries respectively.

In the crossover’s story, Shin-chan enlists Fourze’s help to rescue his younger sister Himawari, who has been kidnapped and crowned princess of a planet that shares the same fictional universe as Fourze’s own space setting. The arc alternated between live-action and animated episodes airing in both shows’ regular time slots between April 13 and April 29.
