First Issue of IDW's Godzilla Ongoing Comic Sells Out

The first issue of IDW Publishing’s new Godzilla ongoing comic sold out its entire first print run, a total of 12,800 copies, within a week of release. It follows IDW’s earlier kaiju title Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters, which also sold out when it launched the previous month. IDW announced a second printing of roughly 1,500 additional copies for readers who missed the initial run, and the issue remained available digitally through the IDW Comics App on iTunes.
