Date Akira and Geki Violet to Play Sharivan and Shaider

Casting details emerged for a Space Sheriff crossover movie centered on a new character, Gavan Type-G, taking up the original Gavan mantle alongside a returning Kenji Ohba as the original Gavan. The film also cast new versions of two other Space Sheriffs: Date Akira, known for Kamen Rider OOO, and Riki Miura, who played Geki Violet in Gekiranger, would play new incarnations of Shaider and Sharivan respectively.

Hiroaki Iwanaga, previously seen in Kamen Rider OOO and Tomica Hero Rescue Force, plays Shu Karasuma as the new Shaider, while Miura’s version of Sharivan is named Kai Hyoga. The film was set to open in Japanese cinemas on October 20th.
