First Look at Wizard's Flame Dragon Style

Early magazine scans gave a first look at Kamen Rider Wizard’s power-up form, Flame Dragon, continuing the Heisei-era tradition of giving each main Rider an upgraded state. Using the Flame Dragon Ring, Wizard transforms from Flame Style into Flame Dragon, drawing on the power of his inner Phantom, the WizarDragon, for a considerable boost in strength.

Alongside the new form, the scans detailed several new rings. The Special Ring, used together with Flame Dragon, brings the head of the WizarDragon onto Wizard’s chest and lets him fire high-intensity flames like a cannon. The Drill Ring lets Wizard spin at high speed to attack Phantoms, shown in the scans as Land Style using the ring against a new Phantom, Gnome. The Extend Ring stretches and bends Wizard’s left hand at will to reach distant objects or people, such as pulling Shunpei away from Ghouls, and the Please Ring, introduced in episode 3, transfers magical power between people, which Koyomi relies on to keep herself “alive.” The Smell Ring, as its name suggests, releases a foul odor.

The scans also touched on the mysterious White Wizard, the figure revealed to have given Haruto his WizarDriver, whose true identity and allegiance were still unknown at the time. A further new form, referred to as Hurricane Dragon, was teased as coming in a future issue of Televi-Kun.
