According to witnesses at the scene, Kyoko Hinami, who portrayed Mitsuki Aoyagi (Akiba Blue) in the first season, was not present, suggesting she had been replaced by a new actress.

A green-haired actress at the filming was reported to be Karin Ogino, reprising her role as Yumeria Moegi (Akiba Yellow), and Masato Wada, the actor for Nobuo Akagi (Akiba Red), was also seen on set. The scene appeared to depict the moment right before a battle, with the three characters preparing to transform. Those who witnessed the filming were told that Akibaranger would return in April, with Naruhisa Arakawa continuing as the series writer.
