Power Rangers ACG Set 3 Preview: Sentai Characters Cross Over to Ranger Cards

Bandai provided an exclusive early look at three cards from Set 3 of the Power Rangers Action Card Game, and the standout wasn’t a Ranger at all: it was a Sentai character sharing a card with one.

The preview cards pair Mega Pink with MomoRanger, Mega Red with Samurai Red (carrying both the Ally and Shield dual symbols used on prior Dual Ranger cards), and KiRanger with Mega Yellow. According to Bandai representative Andy, the cards were cleared directly with Saban specifically because they pair with Power Rangers Megaforce, though Sentai-only cards are expected to remain a minority of the set, framed as a niche pull rather than a mainstream one.

Outside of a parody dub of Abaranger that ran in Power Rangers Dino Thunder, this marks the first time Saban has openly acknowledged the franchise’s Sentai origins in a tangible, in-product way, a gesture the Set 3 cards extend back as far as the original Gorenger.
