DekaRed Transforms Into Kamen Rider Mage

Actor Ryuji Sainei, previously known for portraying Banban Akaza (DekaRed) in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, was cast in Kamen Rider Wizard’s summer movie, In Magic Land, as the captain of the Imperial Guards.

In Magic Land, ordinary citizens can become magicians known as Kamen Rider Mage, though their equipment varies by rank: captains and high-ranking soldiers wear a red cape on the right shoulder, regular soldiers wear yellow, and civilians wear none at all. All are equipped with the broom-shaped RideScraper, which doubles as both a weapon and a means of transportation. The story also follows a young orphan, Shiina, who helps out at Wajima’s shop, Vestige Halls, after being taken in; in this world, the shop deals in magical rings rather than antiques. The film’s three chief Phantoms, Phoenix, Medusa, and Gremlin, fight together on-screen, with Phoenix notably still in good health at that point in the story.
