KyoryuViolet, the Warrior of the Sea

As teased in earlier issues of Televi-kun, a new Kyoryuger was set to join the team: the Sea Hero, KyoryuViolet. Unlike the two other extra Rangers, KyoryuViolet is not a Spirit Ranger but a living character, identified as Doctor Ulshade and portrayed by Shigeru Chiba. Ulshade is a genius scientist who created the Gaburevolver and the other Zyuden Arms with help from his granddaughter, Yayoi, and is described as the first Kyoryuger active in modern times, as skilled with the tools he built as he is knowledgeable about them.

Before the series began, Ulshade left Earth with his partner Plezuon to study the asteroids that brought Deboth to Earth, and returns intending to retire as a hero after this appearance. Plezuon can transform between a dinosaur mode, a spaceship, and its own mecha form, and can combine with Gabutyra and Bunpachy to form Kyoryuzin Exploding. Deboth’s leader, Dark Species Deboth, is said to be soon revived through an avatar, meaning its return will still be incomplete at that stage.
