Updated Legacy Morpher Found at Retail

A few weeks after San Diego Comic-Con closed, the convention-exclusive Tommy Oliver edition of Bandai’s Legacy Morpher was already climbing toward triple-digit prices on the aftermarket. Around the same time, YouTube user Jan Hernandez found that Legacy Morphers newly arriving at retail had their audio changed to better match the gold SDCC version.

The change meant buyers who missed the SDCC release could get a Morpher closer to that version’s sound without paying resale prices, though it remained unclear whether a full retail version matching the SDCC unit’s 24-karat gold finish would follow.
