VIZ Media Announces Digital Release of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3

VIZ Media announced in a September 2013 Facebook post that it would release JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders in full through its digital VIZ Manga platform, with the complete collection priced at $80. A specific release date wasn’t announced alongside the news.

VIZ indicated that further chapters could follow if Stardust Crusaders performed well digitally, though it cautioned that any expansion would take time given the licensing complexity involved, series creator Hirohiko Araki’s frequent real-world music and fashion references, including numerous “Stand” names drawn from bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cheap Trick, and Pearl Jam, meant securing rights clearance across later story arcs was no small task. Several fan translators said they would pull their unofficial versions from circulation as official chapters became available.
