Kamen Rider Gaim & Wizard: The Fateful Sengoku Movie Battle Detailed
Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Gaim & Wizard: The Fateful Sengoku Movie Battle was announced as both a celebration of the 15th Heisei Rider series and the fifth installment of the Movie War series. Like earlier Movie War films, it is split into multiple parts, with Kamen Rider Wizard’s segment serving as an epilogue to that show.
In the Wizard segment, a Phantom-eating Phantom named Orga Phantom, seeking to become the strongest Phantom by consuming the Dragon inside Haruto, steals the Hope Wizard Ring left behind by Koyomi. As Haruto moves to take it back, Koyomi, believed to have disappeared, reappears before him.
Separately, Zawame City hosts a Battle Royale-style game for the Armored Riders, drawing in Gaim, Baron, Ryugen, Kurokage, and Gridon. During the fighting, a crack opens in the sky and monsters emerge, one of them capturing Mai and retreating back through it; the Riders give chase and find themselves in an alternate Sengoku era, where past Kamen Riders exist as figures known as Warrior Gods, including a Warrior God version of Gaim. In the film’s final battle, Wizard joins Gaim in the Sengoku era to confront that mystery.
The Wizard segment was written by Junko Komura, with Nobuhiro Mouri writing the other two segments and Ryuta Tasaki directing the full film, which premiered December 14, 2013.
