Marvel and Toei Partner on Anime Series Disc Wars: Avengers

Marvel and Toei announced a new collaboration on an anime series titled Disc Wars: Avengers, following the two companies’ earlier joint projects bringing Marvel superheroes into an anime format. The series, aimed at a younger audience, follows a premise in which the god of mischief Loki traps every Avengers hero and villain in disc form using a program called Biocode. Five children gain the power to summon the Avengers and, after narrowly escaping capture, meet Spider-Man, who joins them in working to restore Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Wasp.
