Update from MMPR Fan Film Features Two Soldiers at a Crossroads

An unofficial Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fan film project, directed by Dominick Sivili, released a special announcement video from actress Dina Cataldi and producer Mack Khur thanking fans, along with a new preview clip featuring Cataldi as the Blue Ranger. Later installments were set to star Don Money and Ricky Barksdale, along with Kimberly and Ashley Carvalho as the Red, Black, and Yellow Rangers, joined by John Damroth and Matt Meinsen. Robert Axelrod and Jerry Murdock were cast as the voice and body of Lord Zedd, and original series actor David Fielding returned to voice Zordon.

The project’s synopsis, set as the world marks the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers, follows a paramilitary group called the Silver Guardians, who have taken over protection of Angel Grove. Claire Ashmore (Dina Cataldi), a former top Silver Guardians soldier, uncovers plans made by the group’s leader, General E.A. Collins (John Damroth), and turns against the organization. She enlists the help of Zordon, the Power Rangers’ former mentor, as she works to steal the Power Morphers from the Silver Guardians, setting up a conflict between the Power Rangers, the Silver Guardians, and the returning Lord Zedd.
