Kamen Rider Gaim Summer Movie Scans Reveal Kurokage Shin and New Riders

Scans covering the Kamen Rider Gaim summer movie, sourced from Nihon Hero, revealed the return of Ryouji Hase as Kamen Rider Kurokage, this time with a functioning driver, setting up what was described as his true Sengoku Battle in the film. The scans showed Hase alongside Mai after being brought back to life, transforming into Kurokage to seek a rematch against Kamen Rider Bravo, a fight the material indicated he was not positioned to win outright.

The synopsis introduced a boy called Lapis, who wears a bracelet resembling the original design sketches of the Sengoku Driver shown by Ryoma earlier in the television series. The bracelet was said to let Lapis control Armored Riders and Inves, including reverting an Inves back into a human, restoring Hase and a character named Yuuya to life in the same way. Lapis was described as ordering the Armored Riders to fight one another for the status of “Lone Survivor,” distributing Lock Seeds to those he judged capable of reaching that outcome.

After defeating Bravo, Hase went on to challenge Team Baron. With Kaito absent from the team and Zack occupied fighting another Armored Rider, a character named Peco transformed into Kamen Rider Kurokage Shin using Kaito’s Genesis Driver and the Matsubokkuri Lock Seed, attacking Hase at Team Baron’s base. Kaito, as Kamen Rider Baron in Banana Arms, intervened to save Hase from Kurokage Shin’s Matsubokkuri Arms.

The scans also pointed to three additional new Riders appearing in the movie, each visually similar to Kamen Rider Gaim and rumored to belong to Team Gaim: Mai in Jimber Budou Arms (purple), Yuuya in Jimber Lemon Arms (blue), and Rat in Jimber Durian Arms (green). These forms were described as supporting Gaim in battles against other Armored Riders staged at Fukuda Denshi Arena.
