Next Week on Kamen Rider Gaim (Episode 29)

A synopsis previewed Kamen Rider Gaim episode 29, “King of Overlord,” airing May 11, 2014, written by Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus and directed by Takayuki Shibasaki.

Kouta Kazuraba remains unaware that the Kamen Rider Zangetsu-Shin who attacked him was Mitsuzane Kureshima. Ryoma Sengoku, as Kamen Rider Duke, summons Kouta, Mitsuzane, and Kaito Kumon to Yggdrasill, where Sid, as Kamen Rider Sigurd, betrays the corporation by destroying its Crack using the Lock Vehicle. Duke and Sigurd then attack Takatora, whose Genesis Driver had been taken by Mitsuzane, leaving him wounded and stranded in Helheim Forest unless he can find a Crack or get help from the Armored Riders. There, Takatora meets Overlord King Roshuo, who tells him he is descended from a civilization called Femushinmu that existed before an invasion.

Meanwhile, Kouta, having quit being an Armored Rider after Mitsuzane’s betrayal in the previous episode, takes a part-time job at Fruits Parlour Drupers. Kaito asks him to help fight the Overlord, while Mitsuzane tells him quitting was the right call, but Kouta ultimately decides to cooperate with Kaito against the Overlord. During that fight, Kamen Rider Sigurd interferes, raising the question of whether the confrontation will be his last battle.
