Next Week on Kamen Rider Gaim (Episode 38): A Promise for the Finale

A synopsis previewed Kamen Rider Gaim episode 38, “Professor’s Feedback,” airing July 20, 2014. Mitsuzane Kureshima, as Kamen Rider Zangetsu Shin, defeats his brother Takatora Kureshima’s Kamen Rider Zangetsu. Kouta Kazuraba, who had tried to stop the fight between the brothers, finds Zangetsu’s broken Sengoku Driver on the battlefield. Mitsuzane, now aligned with Redyue, arrives with another Overlord, Shinmugurumu, intending to capture Mai Takatsukasa; Kouta and Kaito Kumon transform into their Armored Rider forms, Gaim and Baron, to intervene. During the confrontation, a hallucination of Takatora appears before Mitsuzane, telling him he can never escape, a moment Redyue reacts to despite knowing it isn’t real.

Unable to stop the brothers’ battle, Kouta is asked by Mai to promise that he will tell her what he wants for the future once the conflict ends. Kouta returns to the garage in low spirits, still thinking about Takatora, when Ryoma Sengoku, Kamen Rider Duke, reveals he had been hiding in a secret passage inside the Yggdrasill Tower and makes a proposal Kouta is reluctant to trust. Zack, as Kamen Rider Knuckle, and Kaito attack Ryoma in their Armored Rider forms, with Kouta joining them.
