Shout! Factory Confirms Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger DVD Release

Shout! Factory confirmed via Twitter that it would bring Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger to DVD in North America, the first time the source series behind Mighty Morphin Power Rangers had received an official domestic release.

Zyuranger, which first aired in Japan on February 21, 1992, follows five ancient warriors awakened in the present day to fight the witch Bandora and her creations, the same footage later adapted into MMPR’s early seasons. At the time of the announcement, Shout! Factory had confirmed only that the release would include subtitles, with further details expected as San Diego Comic-Con continued.
