Kamen Rider Gaim Gets a Nod in Drama Hell Teacher Nube

The Japanese drama Hell Teacher Nube, which cast several tokusatsu actors in supporting roles, worked in a direct nod to Kamen Rider Gaim in its fourth episode. Gaku Sano, who played Kouta Kazuraba/Kamen Rider Gaim, appears in the drama as Shuichi Shirato, and in the referenced scene, his character exclaims, “Oh God! We ate the Fruit of Wisdom!”, a line that reads as a direct callback to Gaim’s fruit-based Rider designs.

Sano wasn’t the only tokusatsu-adjacent casting in the drama: Ryo Yoshizawa (Ryusei Sakata/Kamen Rider Meteor) and Kazuki Shimizu (Don Dogier/Gokai Green) also appeared.
