Movie Taisen Full Throttle: Story Details Revealed

A brochure distributed at the press conference for Movie Taisen Full Throttle outlined the film’s plot ahead of release, following the same three-part structure used by earlier Movie Taisen crossovers: one segment for each title Rider’s individual story, and a third segment where the two plots converge.

In the Kamen Rider Gaim segment, “Advance to the Last Stage,” Kota and Mai set out to build a new world after saving humanity, only for a new threat, Mega Hex, to emerge and begin conquering that world before advancing toward Earth. Kota is shown apparently losing his life in the confrontation, while on Earth the remaining Sengoku Driver users mount a resistance; Sengoku Ryoma reappears with unexpectedly enhanced powers, raising doubts about whether Kota and Mai are truly gone.

In the Kamen Rider Drive segment, “Lupin’s Challenge,” the villain Phantom Thief Ultimate Lupin overwhelms the Special Police Force after acquiring the body of Roimude Cyberloid ZZZ. Transforming into Kamen Rider Lupin, he sets out to disable Kamen Rider Drive’s transformation belt and succeeds, leaving Shinnosuke unable to henshin.

The crossover segment, “Movie Taisen – Full Throttle,” has Mega Hex combine with Cyberloid ZZZ to form ZZZ Mega Hex. Shinnosuke tracks the new threat and joins forces with the Armored Riders, and the fight escalates into space as the Kamen Riders exchange and combine their powers to face it down.
