After the phantom thieves of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger got their two-piece VS Vehicle last month, now it's the cops' turn. The DX Trigger Machine Crane and Drill functions similarly to the DX Scissors and Blade Dial Fighter. They are two separate VS Vehicles that can combine (I use that word loosely) into one solid vehicle. They function with the DX VS Changer together or individually, and they combine with PatKaiser to make PatKaiser Strong. In the DX VS Changer, you get Keisatsu Boost sounds for the two separately and summoning sounds for the two together. As I've said in past videos, I absolutely love the functionally of the VS Vehicles in the Changer, and this set is no exception. However, I've also stated that the mecha this season aren't really my th...
Kamen Rider Build has been lucky enough to have 2 regular SH Figuarts releases, with a 3rd to come in June. Here we have Night Rogue, the first major antagonist of the series. Holy crap, this figure is beautiful. Build was a good figure but his design is very simple. In contrast, Night Rogue is complex and far more intricate. The detailing is just superb and the articulation doesn't suffer one bit for any of that. The paint is on point too, he even has glowing yellow eyes that can be seen under his bat visor when you look closely. The accessories are great as well. He comes with the Transtream Gun and Steam Blade, both are accurate to the show and look great on their own but can even combine into the rifle mode for an even cooler look. At the end of the day, I have absolutely zero negat
After both teams in Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger simultaneously received new VS Vehicles last month, now the Lupinrangers get the solo spotlight with the new DX Scissors and Blade Dial Fighter. This is a fantastic set. Both the Scissors and Blade Dial Fighters are 100% unique and each function together or independently. They both have unique summoning sounds, lock combinations, and gun shot sounds. This set is basically 2 Dial Fighters in one. The "Kaitou Boost" gives the user the massive shield and boomerang in the show, but here, you get snipping sounds for Scissors and metal clashing sounds for Blade. On their own, they each have their own individual "attack modes" with Blade just turning into its sword form and Scissors unfolding its undercarriage to reveal
In Kamen Rider Build's second quarter, they remodeled the DX Trans Steam Gun into the DX Nebula Steam Gun, complete with new sounds and a sweet new purple paint job. The toy also comes with 2 Gears (basically square Full Bottles) that can create 3 forms. Much like the Trans Steam Gun, you can put any bottles you want in here, but it only reads the 2 Gears and the DX Crocodile Crack Full Bottle, which we'll get into more later. By inserting either the Gear Remocon or the Gear Engine into the gun and pulling the trigger, the user now becomes Remocon Bro or Engine Bro respectively. Another trigger pull results in the final attack for either character. Now here's when things get really cool. By inserting one gear, then the other, you get the "Funky Match" and fuse into the Hell Bro, also
So far, Kamen Rider Build has been a great series and its toys have been fairly solid. Items like the Build Driver and DX Full Bottle sets being the best the toy line has to offer and the weapons, so far, being mediocre. Nothing egregiously bad but just nothing noteworthy, UNTIL NOW! The Transteam Gun is the transformation device of Night Rogue and Blood Stark (I won't call him Stalk) and it is the best weapon of the line easily. The gun is a tad small but in fairness it looks small in Gentoku's hands in the show as well so I'll let that slide. The detail is fantastic, the gun fire sounds are satisfying and can be fired as fast or as slow as the user wants. You also get the DX Bat Full Bottle with this set, which can be inserted into the Transteam Gun for transformation into Night Rog...
